Hey ho! A Comic. Late but not past due. Anyway, I get lots of ideas, mostly when i’m somewhere far away from pen and/or paper, and by the time I get somewhere to draw them they are gone. This one just sort of spewed out when i sat down lamenting that I kept losing the good ideas. Plus, the Dinosaur Doctors return!
Congratulations to the LA Kings who won the actual le Coup de Stanley this year. AND to the Norfolk Admirals who won the Calder Cup (the AHL Championship hardware) several days before. I have touched the Stanley Cup but not lifted it. You have to win it to do that.
It seems that to be a fan of the AHL one must be a fan of the game since players, coaches, and sometimes entire teams will trade places or generally move on to bigger and better things (or fade away if expectations are not met). This is the case with our newly-crowned champion Admirals. The Tampa Bay Lightning (our NHL parent club) has ended their affiliation with Norfolk and moved the entire team to Syracuse, while the Anaheim Ducks, who used to be in Syracuse, have moved their team here. At least there will be hockey next year…
477 – Weather is here, wish you were beautiful
by Steve on June 19, 2012 at 12:05 amLarry went on vacation and decided to spend time with his wife instead of his best internationally-known web-comic artist buddy. FINE!
SICKNESS and pestilence abounds. Many people I know have the same lung crud as the wife and I, even people we did not cough on, so it’s not all my fault. Hey, here’s an idea for a t-shirt: “PATIENT ZERO” and underneath “I started the zombie apocalypse.” Eh? Eh?
I don’t have bacterial pneumonia but the wife does and I’m trying real hard to not get it. I thought it would be fun to give it to Larry and Jim.
Yes, my skin is fair. I burn under a light bulb. I’ll finish coloring it later. I am exhausted. Also, check out the alternative ending for Tuesday’s cartoon and let me know which one you like better.
Ah, there we go, colorized for your enjoyment…
