Folks, I talked it over with Larry. Tuesday is like the worst update day for me now. The weekends are packed, Monday is packed, and it’s nearly impossible to update with any regularity on Tuesday. So the update is getting moved to Friday. The comic for this week is about 72.8% done so it should be here on Friday when you check back. Thanks kids, see you on Friday.

531 – A glimpse behind the curtain

Here is an example of how I sometimes work on comics. I draw them with a pen and then surround them with unintelligible scribbles that later (tonight) will become the breathtaking visual experience that you have all become accustomed to finding somewhere else while you put up with my ‘art.’

Steve: Aw!

Larry: Can you believe it? I dropped my iPhone 5 in the toilet while i was checking one of my 5 productivity/self advancement lists.
(Mr Spock (from Star Trek) beams in) Thank you Mr. Spock. Ooo! An iPhone 10!
Steve: Well, I threw mine in the toilet because Tetris wouldn’t rotate the orange L-shaped piece in time.
(T-Rex brings Steve his old dinosaur phone. See what i did there?)

530 – It’s not ready

New comic was not ready as of update time last night, but it willbe posted as oon as i can get it finished today. We got a new dog this weekend and she made our routines and schedules all higgledy-piggledy.

Larry did do a humongous project where he drew or painted or scratched or somehow produced an ‘art’ of a dog every day for a year. His site does not appear to be running correctly because there is like one picture of a dog, instead of 365 like there used to be. And by the time I typed this i’m pretty sure he was asleep and would NOT approve of me calling him to find out.

Comic maintenance underway

I’ve figured some things out. I had to change the naming convention on the first handfull of comics (191-205) and they show up now, although the comments are not active and THAT I haven’t figured out yet. But there are a few more comics to enjoy now. I hope to get some time in the next few weeks to find, fix, and upload the first 190 comics so you can see how bad i was at this when i started doing it. In the mean time there are a few comics missing and there may be other gaps as i maintenence it up. Thanks for bearing with me.

I was planning to get a table at the Small Press Expo (in September) and debut the book of collected E9M comics but the SPX sold out in like 15 minutes and no, I did not get one of the tables. Larry has been encouraging me (and by encouraging i mean nagging relentlessly) to do more comics and get more eyeball (and hopefully wallets) on my interweb space. The fact that I currently have no merchandise is irrelevant apparently, but i can fix that pretty quick.

(What I can’t fix is this stupid Comicpress interface that randomly puts up invisible comics which is why, at the moment, you see all three versions of 529 that I posted to try to get the strip to show up today.)(and now I can’t get the comments to be available. RAT FRAGGIT)
